Welcome to our online shop! We'd like to take a moment and share with you a little background on our company's history.

We are a family owned and operated business and believe in good old fashioned business values: Open, honest communication, a hand shake, and customer satisfaction.

Hard work, determination, and a good attitude are also key elements to our success.

My wife Penny and I started Rick's Rags back in 1984 with our sons Zachary and Erick.

Starting out with just a pair of scissors and a small pile of discarded clothes, we worked out of our mobile home, producing about 100 pounds of cleaning rags per week.

Since then, we were blessed with a daughter, Meghan, our newest family member!

Today, Rick's Rags produces over 30 different grades of quality cleaning rags for industrial and residential use.

We have a workforce of 16 full time employees, using state of the art high speed rag cutting machines and peripherial equipment.

As a reliable supplier of wiping cloths to a large and growing customer base, we typically produce cut rags at rates of up to 600 - 1,000 pounds per hour.

We are presently serving over 1,200 repeat customers out of our recently acquired 14,000' facility.

A large part of our bulk raw material comes from recycling several tons of waste material that would otherwise be contributing to America's growing landfill problem.

In addition to our business activities, my wife and I are currently President & Co-President of the Canastota Chamber of Commerce.

Penny also teaches Sunday School and participates in many school activities.

As President of the Rotary Club, I am also involved in planning and coordinating a variety of humanitarian efforts in our local community.

Canastota is a community of concerned citizens with strong family values. A fine place to work and play and a great place to raise your family.

Well, that's our story and we're stickin' to it! Thanks for stopping by and we hope you come back soon.
